Typical control practices:
Chemical: basal bark, foliar, cut stubble, cut stump, girdle, wick
Mechanical: forestry mower, light mower, chainsaw, clearing saw
Rx fire: seedlings highly susceptible, limited negative impact to adults

Notes:  Control practices often cause suckering.
